LeBron Jersey Gets Man Cursed In Cleveland
07/30/2010 --
Cleveland fans mobbed and cursed out a man this week for wearing a LeBron James jersey to an Indians game.
YouTube video of the incident shows Matthew Bellamy, 26, showing off the Miami Heat jersey as he's led out of the stadium to a chorus of boos and insults.
Many Cavaliers fans are burning LeBron jerseys and posters after the NBA superstar left Cleveland for the Heat.
Things got out of hand when Bellamy's image was put on the stadium's jumbo screen.
"Having beer thrown at me and peanuts came flying from every direction," he said.
Bellamy, a factory worker, was at the game with his girlfriend, who is shown pushing a man who allegedly threw peanuts at her.
"I don't take any crap," Bellamy said. "I thought it was absolutely hilarious and you can wear whatever you want."
Police escorted the pair from the stadium as Bellamy's girlfriend repeatedly waved her middle finger.
Bellamy said he's talking with lawyers about suing the stadium for ejecting him.
