TCEA Lifts Boil Water Notice In Houston

On Saturday, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality lifted a boil water notification for all city of Houston water customers in the 77336 and 77532 zip codes.
On Friday night, the boil water notification was issued after an unexpected drop in system pressure; however, the pressure has been righted and the system is now running properly.
Officials said the boil water notice was only precautionary. A confirmation test on water quality has not yet been completed.
